Robert Kenrick 2019 Champion!

Congratulations to Robert Kenrick - 2019 Midland Hill Climb Champion!

On an epic day of Hill Climbing at Prescott, Robert finally closed out the 2019 Championship win with a superb New Class Record.

After experiencing an uncharacteristic trip into the gravel at Ettores on his first class run, Robert bounced back with a superb record breaking run of 36.97, taking three tenths off of his own previous record.

The crowds at Prescott were entertained by some fabulous motorsport witnessing some incredibly closely fought class battles and the sight of Sean Gould breaking Jos Goodyear's previous outright record with an astounding 35.41 second run. Sean took his first outright course record of his career and deservedly won the Man of the Meeting award for his efforts.

There's still lots to resolve in the Midland Championship and the final championship and class positions will be decided at the season finale at Loton Park on 28th/29th September - I can't wait!
